FAIRTEX SP9 "LIQUID STEEL" MUAY THAI BOXING SHIN GUARDS STEEL

Fairtex SP9 Liquid Steel shin guards are a special edition of the popular SP9 Ultra Ergo model, combining its proven protective construction with a distinctive metallic silver finish. Designed for Muay Thai, they are also suitable for kickboxing, MMA and other striking disciplines.

The Liquid Steel edition retains the key features of the original SP9 Ultra Ergo, including Fairtex’s Stitching-Free Open System, independently moving shin and foot protectors, anatomical padding, extended side protection and adjustable straps.

The main difference is the material and appearance. While the standard SP9 Ultra Ergo is made from Syntek Leather, the Liquid Steel edition features durable PU material with a smooth silver-grey metallic finish, giving the shin guards a sleek, modern appearance.

The Stitching-Free Open System allows the shin and foot sections to move independently up to 180 degrees. This flexible construction follows the natural movement of the leg and ankle, reducing restriction during kicks, pad work and sparring.

The anatomical design provides a close and secure fit. Extended side protection offers additional coverage around the shin, calf and knee area, while the reinforced front padding helps absorb impact during intensive training.

The three-layer foam padding system provides effective shock absorption without adding unnecessary bulk. Hand-finished inner padding is shaped to follow the contours of the leg for improved comfort and stability.

The adjustable hook-and-loop straps allow a secure fit for different calf sizes. A soft inner strap helps prevent discomfort, while the flexible foot protector features a durable elastic support that keeps the guards securely in place during movement.

The moisture-absorbing inner lining helps maintain comfort throughout training sessions. The construction contains no metal loops, making these shin guards suitable for many amateur competitions where metal components are not permitted.
