Get ready! Antalya is buzzing with anticipation as it prepares to host the historic IFMA Senior World Championships 2025 in just 3 weeks.
This landmark event will welcome approximately 100 national teams from across all five continents. The championships will showcase the diverse world of muaythai, featuring combat, para, special, and the cultural divisions of Wai Kru and Mai Muay.
Hasan Yildz, President of the Turkish Muaythai Federation, has confirmed that final preparations are well underway, with all visas approved. The city of Antalya is eager to host what promises to be one of the largest muaythai events ever held.
Adding to the excitement, IFMA Director General, Charissa Tynan, announced that the event will also include a General Assembly. Furthermore, Dato Shannaz Azmi, Chair of IFMA Education, highlighted the schedule of instructor workshops and anti-doping conferences, emphasizing IFMA’s commitment to continuous development alongside the athlete competitions.
We are also honored to anticipate the presence of numerous VIPs from the Olympic movement, recognizing IFMA’s standing as the sole muaythai federation acknowledged by the International Olympic Committee.
