A Belgian judge is expected to make a ruling in November regarding a breach of contract claim by Enfusion against popular Moroccan fighter Badr Hari. The story was first reported by Dutch publication Algemeen Dagblad (AD).

After serving time in prison for assault in 2017, former convict Hari returned to GLORY and faced Hesdy Gerges in March 2018.

Enfusion claims Hari had already signed a contract with them to fight at a gala in Antwerp, Belgium in May 2018. According to the AD article, Hari’s lawyer at the time claimed Enfusion failed to meet a first payment condition and the contract was effectively terminated, allowing Hari to sign with another promoter.

Both parties have made their arguments to the court. The judge will decide in November “if all goes well.”

If Hari is found to have breached the Enfusion contract, he could be liable for a significant amount of monetary damages, according to the AD report.
